Noire Typographique

The project was to design event collateral for an event at the annual Typographic conference ATypI. The event was to be held in Paris and to celebrate the history of Black Type. 'Noire Typographique' is clean and timeless; the brand identity focused on rich blacks, and blur the lines between past and present design trends.

Inspiration Black & white Parisian street photographer Eugene Atget, fashion photographer Richard Avedon, illustrator & typographer Robert Massin, Film Noir from the 1930s-1950s, Downton Abbey (my favorite show at the time), and French fashion blogs.

Pictured logo, mailers, stationery, business cards, invitation, brochure, sticker, postcards, website, and promotional materials.
