Unit 1908 Photo Study

My love of Architecture started when…

I moved to the South Loop of Chicago after high school to pursue an education in graphic design and photography. While living in unit 1908 at the Burnham Park Plaza, I fell in love with architecture. Appropriately named after the great Architect Daniel Burnham, I found myself immersed in Chicago's rich architectural history. I would go out on my balcony to take photos of the same view on a different day. I would wander around the city between classes totally mesmerized by the incredible skyline, the lines, the attention to detail, the mosaic tiles and most of all, the feeling that came over me while observing these grand structures. I was so inspired I couldn’t believe this was my life ♥
